Thank you to all who attended the SAEN Dinner & Auction this year. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
Anglers, conservationists, and friends alike gathered on April 27, 2024 for a great evening of fun in support of Atlantic Salmon Conservation and helped conserve and protect our fresh water resources.
Our 32nd Dinner and Auction took place at the Royal Canadian Legion, Pleasantville, St. John’s and this year it was better than ever! We had several kinds of raffles, silent auctions and a fast-paced and friendly live auction. The high quality merchandise provided everything the fisherperson could want and then some. Even trips to world renowned fishing spots including a trip for 2 to Crooks Lake Lodge in Labrador! We thank you all for participating in this event and your continuous support of wild Atlantic salmon. Stay tuned to our website and social media platforms for details on our dinner next year! At this years event, we again be presented the annual Dorothy Burton Conservation Award. This award honours an individual, corporation, or agency who promote catch and release as a conservation measure or who use the practice regularly in their angling activities for the conservation or protection of salmon and trout populations within our Province.
