SAEN hosts fly tying classes each fall and winter!

We offer two levels of instruction:
Novice - for those with little or limited experience, looking to learn basic skills and improve their tying.
Intermediate - for tyers with experience who are looking to refine their skills and enjoy a night out with other like-minded individuals.

The offering is FREE for SAEN members and just the cost of a membership ($25) for non-members. Tyers can certainly bring their own tools, but we do have kits available in the office to use. Materials for the flies are provided by SAEN.

The Guenter Behr Moose Stew

​The 30th Annual Guenter Behr Award, Moose Stew Supper in aid of Salmon & Trout Conservation is over for another year. 

The annual 'Moose Stew' has become renown for the fun and full bellies. Enjoy the food, fun and support our conservation efforts.

Annual Spring Dinner and Auction

Join us May 22nd for the 33rd Annual SAEN Spring Dinner and Auction!

When: May 22nd, 2025
Where: Knights of Columbus, 49 St Clare Ave

The event will be especially significant in that we will be presenting the annual Dorothy Burton Conservation Award to the person or organization that uses or promotes the practice of catch-and-release.
