The Salmonid Association of Eastern Newfoundland’s 30th Annual Dinner and Auction will be held on May 4, 2019, at the Holiday Inn, St. John’s. We are pleased again to have Anthony Germain, co-host of CBC’s Here and Now, as our emcee for the evening.
This year it's better than ever! Our annual Dinner and Auction offers several kinds of raffles, silent auctions and a fast-paced and friendly live auction. The high quality merchandise provides everything the fisherperson could want and then some. Even trips to world renown fishing spots. Don't miss the opportunity to attend our dinner. It's a great way to have fun and support our conservation efforts. Check out a few of this years items. The theme of this year’s dinner and auction is, “Catch-and-Release: A Legacy for our Children”. This year will be especially significant in that we will be presenting the inaugural Dorothy Burton Conservation Award to the person or organisation that uses or promotes the practice of catch-and-release.
