Mustad 9671 or equivalent Size: 14 - 4

Tail:

a slice of turkey wing feather.

Body:

Flat gold tinsel

Wing:

turkey wing feather - matched and tied in traditional wet fly style

Sides:

Underwing: squirrel tail. Left out on smaller versions

Head:

Deer or caribou hair spun and clipped

Instructions/History

Comments:

For the tail or wing I may use grouse wing on smaller versions rather then the turkey feather. This is a small version used primarily for trout.
