I first tied and used this fly in 2003. Fishing in Bay St. George area group of six anglers had very good fishing on the Codroy, Crabbes, Robinson and Middle Barachois Rivers. Seventy percent of the fish caught fell to this fly. It can be tied in smaller Bug style or even in a large Bomber style, but medium Bomber size was most productive. Hackle colour is not too importnat as I use pale olive, medium olive or wgite saddle hackle on this fly. |
